About the Job
Were seeking a driven Investment Associate (Fintech) (m/f/d) to join Project As dynamic team in London for an engaging twoyear program. In this position you will be immersed in identifying evaluating and executing investment opportunities in European Fintech companies. Youll work closely with senior members of the investment team and gain firsthand experience in earlystage investing.
Project A is at the forefront of Europes tech landscape scouting for the most compelling founders and categorydefining business.We have been actively investing since 2012 in companies such as World Remit Trade Republic Voi KRY and Sennder. Fueled by curiosity and a passion for technology our team actively seeks out the continents most visionary entrepreneurs providing tireless support for our portfolio companies and offering operational assistance across all fronts.
In this role youll:
- Acquire knowledge of the fundamentals of venture capital fintech and technology entrepreneurship
- Network and meaningfully contribute to high quality fintech dealflow
- Take strong ownership of and manage the process of deal sourcing and evaluation
- Conduct comprehensive research on investment opportunities assessing teams products markets and business models identifying opportunities and key risks
- Assist in deal execution activities including due diligence and investment memo preparation
- Work closely with our partners and support the investment team on preseed seed and series A Fintech opportunities in Europe
Your Profile
- Graduated from a top tier university at either a graduate or postgraduate level ideally with a background in finance
- Demonstrated understanding and enthusiasm for the Fintech and startup ecosystem
- 1 years of experience in tech startups consulting or banking preferred with a Fintech or VC background being advantageous
- Proficient in analysing multiple data sources deriving informed outputs and navigating informational ambiguity
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely with additional European languages being advantageous
- Proactive and capable of building networks and trusted relationships with founders and key stakeholders
- Curiosity tenacity ownership team player passion for Venture Capital and Fintech
Please note that we are looking for support in the London office. Eligibility to work within the UK is required as well.
