Senior Full Stack Developer Full-Time mfd

As a Senior Fullstack Developer at United Manufacturing Hub you will actively contribute to both our Open Source core and closedsource addons closing the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. Your responsibilities include handson development using technologies like Go for the backend and Svelte for the frontend building clear structures and sparring for the team and ensuring longterm stability through robust testing and engineering best practices.

Tasks

• Youll be actively contributing to the development of both the Open Source project United Manufacturing Hub and its closedsource addons. Check out our architecture using the C4 model here.
• Your specific duty entails retrieving data from our infrastructure via the Management Companion (an agent on every Kubernetes Cluster) and presenting this data in the frontend in a consistent user journey for intuitive user interaction.
• Beyond handson development your role includes mentoring the team pairprogramming in complex software development stages planning and executing solutions. Youll also contribute to ADRs shipping maintaining and migrating products.
• Focus on longterm stability by ensuring robust automated testing efficient issue identification through monitoring and alerting and maintainability through clear code and documentation.
• Lead medium to complex projects with autonomy proactively tackle challenges adhere to and improve team practices introduce new engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven 5 years of experience in software development ideally in Go or similar and had exposure to fullstack/frontend development.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive structured and handson work approach strong ownership and independence.
• Mentoring experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Familiarity with traditional and agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in the area of industrial IoT would be an advantage.
• You have a valid working permit for Germany.
