Backend Engineer Java Springboot

This is a remote position.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  
• Apply strong objectoriented programming principles and architectural patterns such as REST CQRS and DDD.
  
• Implement eventsourced microservices and integrate with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  
• Design and develop transactionheavy distributed systems in a Linux environment.
  
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards leveraging your understanding of laws related to fintech platforms.
  
• Take ownership of projects from conception to delivery and actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
  
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• 3 years of experience in backend development ideally within financial services or fintech companies.
  
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and objectoriented programming principles.
  
• Experience with eventdriven architecture messaging systems and distributed systems.
  
• Familiarity with CQRS and DDD concepts.
  
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
  
• Excellent English proficiency both written and verbal.
  
• Experience within an AWS environment
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is nice to have.
  
• Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins & Kubernetes is nice to have
  
• Independent and capable of taking ownership of tasks.
  
• Curious and eager to learn about new technologies and industry trends.
