الوصف الوظيفي
Our client is looking for a strong leader and experienced facility manager to take the lead as Plant Manager at its groundbreaking bagasse pelletizing facility in Jeanerette LA. Construction is well underway and the client is looking for an outstanding individual who can help design policies processes logistics and staff development for the facility. In addition to being a great leader the applicant should have a track record of promoting cooperation community and collaboration. Significant expertise is also necessary in terms of establishing and adhering to safety requirements as well as creating a healthy working environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Examine procedures and develop plans to efficiently employ available resources.
- Oversee plant operations including budget production schedule and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Ensure adherence to rules processes and workplace norms.
- Manage the facilitys operations logistics and upkeep.
- Analyze production costs and feedstock to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in pelletizing biomass is a key differentiation.
- Recommended but not essential. Bachelors degree in engineering or related subject.
- Requirements: 15 years of expertise in continuous process operations or maintenance management including material handling.
- Experience in trucking and logistics management is very valuable.
- Excellent communication managerial and supervising skills.
