Our client is a tax planning and preparation agency that offers a wide range of standard and specialized tax accounting and estate planning services to individuals small companies and midsized organizations in a variety of sectors both locally and nationwide.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Detailoriented team player
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with the relevant documents for prior filing years and extensions.
- Open and close tax files
- Updating/maintaining the proper spreadsheets and databases
- When returns are ready to be filed submit them electronically or on paper to the relevant agency.
- onfirm that all returns have been electronically accepted and take necessary action if they have not.
- Address the clients concerns about the completion status of their tax return(s).
- Address client concerns about IRS letters and draft and deliver Powers of Attorney as appropriate.
- Organizing documents in income tax files
- During low peak season (other than tax season) support the firms CPAs with daytoday obligations.
- After closing the file transmit final copies of the results to the client.
