We are in search of a dedicated and motivated individual for a fulltime position as an Air Compressor Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will take on the primary responsibility of conducting onsite preventative maintenance services repairs and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems. The role extends to encompass general workshop duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance services for air compressors.
- Execute repairs and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems both within the workshop and onsite.
- Fulfill general workshop duties as required.
Requirements
- Background in fixed plant maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of air compressors and pneumatic systems.
- Strong ability to conduct mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Preferably possess a mechanical electrical or refrigeration trade qualification.
- A restricted electrical license would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Wellpresented with good communication skills.
- Must own a set of tools.
- Possession of a C class driver s license is essential.
Additional Considerations:
- Given the nature of the field service role applicants must be flexible open to travel and available for regular overtime. This may include early starts late finishes and occasional afterhours callouts or weekend work.
