Business Development Associate escrap purchasing

Are you a tenacious and dynamic purchasing specialist with knowledge of the escrap markets

Are you looking to join an organization that is rapidly expanding and is heavily focused on bolstering their operations across the entire USA

In this role you will become the second member of the escrap purchasing team and will contribute to the success of this rapidly expanding electronics recycling company. By joining a smaller team it will be easy for you to stand out from the crowd!

To be successful in this role you will have experience sourcing high volumes of endoflife IT assets and escrap material. You will also have a network of suppliers and the ability to hunt and convert new logos to purchase from.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase all types of endoflife IT assets and escrap
• Identify the full value of product and ensure pricing is competitive
• Continuously source high volumes of product with good margins
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best pricing

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience of purchasing endoflife IT equipment
• An established network of suppliers across the USA
• Ability to aggressively hunt new contacts and suppliers
