Overview:


The Manager Strategic Business Development (Software Product Industry) plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the companys software product. This role involves identifying new business opportunities forging partnerships and leveraging market insights to achieve strategic objectives. The individual will lead initiatives to propel the products market presence and ensure sustained competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic plans for business expansion and revenue growth
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for global business development targeting new markets and expanding existing ones.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities that align with DDi Smart Technologys overall objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Lead the product development efforts in alignment with market demands
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry players
  • Lead the endtoend client acquisition process from identifying prospects to closing deals Craft and negotiate business deals and contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Drive the product roadmap in collaboration with crossfunctional teams
  • Assess and mitigate risks to ensure sustainable business growth
  • Identify and pursue new market segments and geographical expansion
  • Manage the products competitive positioning and differentiation strategy
  • Oversee the implementation of gotomarket strategies
  • Analyze and optimize pricing and packaging strategies
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption
  • Provide insights into customer needs and preferences to guide product enhancements
  • Stay updated with industry developments and competitive landscape
  • Present regular reports on business development initiatives and outcomes.

Global / International Expansion:
  • Develop and execute plans for international expansion considering cultural and regional nuances.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and challenges associated with global business development.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science preferably with an MBA/PG in Business Administration/Business Management.
  • Proven experience in strategic business development preferably in software product domain
  • Demonstrated success in driving product growth and market expansion
  • Indepth understanding of market analysis and strategic planning
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive collaborative efforts
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on datadriven decision making
  • Proven track record of forging successful partnerships and alliances
  • Familiarity with product management principles and practices
  • Strategic thinker with a forwardlooking approach
  • Proactive and goaloriented mindset with a resultsdriven approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Strong business acumen and market intelligence
  • Proficiency in relevant business and analytical tools
