Sommelier Guest Relations

Cascada Marbella is a restaurant 2 minutes away from the shopping centre La Caada Marbella. It opened in September 2020 and has grown from welcoming an average of 20 covers to a 150. The venue is beautiful and spacious greeting many private events such as weddings private parties communions and more. The cuisine is led by an experienced Michelin star chefs who uses traditional techniques to bring forward the flavours of each individual ingredient. Everything is homemade including some cheese charcuterie lactofermented vegetables umami powders and more. The customer service is of high standard and the experience is emphasized on food and drinks pairing.

Tasks

This dynamic role seamlessly blends the art of wine curation with the warmth of guest relations emphasizing a personalized experience. As a Sommelier and Guest Relations Host you will expertly manage the wine program ensuring an exceptional selection contribute to CRM data improvement for personalized guest interactions and actively work to achieve sales objectives set by management.

Wine Program Management:

1. Curate and Maintain: Craft and update an impressive wine selection reflecting diverse tastes and preferences.
2. Expert Recommendations: Provide insightful and tailored wine recommendations elevating the dining experience.
3. Cellar Oversight: Manage cellar organization and inventory ensuring optimal storage conditions and a wellcurated wine list.

Guest Relations:

1. Warm Greetings: Greet and seat guests with a genuine and friendly demeanor setting a positive tone.
2. Dining Experience: Ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience through attentive service and personalized attention.
3. Guest Engagement: Address guest inquiries and special requests fostering a sense of hospitality and satisfaction.
4. Personalized Approach: Contribute to the improvement of our CRM data to enhance the personalization of guest experiences.

Sales Objectives:

1. Achieve Targets: Actively work towards achieving sales objectives set by management through effective wine promotions upselling and strategic pricing.

Staff Training:

1. Training Programs: Develop and conduct training programs for restaurant staff to enhance their knowledge of wine service etiquette and customer engagement.
2. Collaboration with Chefs: Collaborate with chefs to ensure a cohesive understanding of wine and food pairings for a seamless dining experience.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Sommelier Certification: Formal education in wine studies or equivalent expertise.
• Hospitality Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for positive guest interactions.
• Multitasking Abilities: Capable of seamlessly managing wine responsibilities and guest relations in a dynamic environment.
• CRM Enhancement: Actively contribute to improving CRM data for a more personalized and attentive guest experience.
