Senior Environmental Engineer

Regardless of your expertise or career aspirations, Worley offers opportunities for personal and professional growth without limitations.Primary Objective:The primary objective of this role is to deliver environmental management consultancy services to both internal Advisian/Worley business units/offices and external clients. This includes overseeing project performance from a technical and commercial standpoint, promoting environmental services to existing and potential clients, and fostering follow-on work opportunities.Specific Accountabilities:Develop environmental strategies for project approvals and coordinate regulatory approval processes.Identify and scope required environmental studies, conduct Environmental Impact Assessments, and manage interface with clients.Facilitate Environmental ENVID workshops, develop environmental risk registers, and review environmental criteria in project design phases.Implement Environmental Management Systems (EMSs) and associated plans, oversee their implementation, and conduct site audits as necessary.Develop sustainability strategies, conduct assessments, and peer review specialist subcontractor work.Manage project procedures, estimation of work scopes, and team of professional and technical staff.Mentor junior staff and liaise with local communities and stakeholders on consulting matters.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering.Certification as a Certified Green Professional (CGP) with Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) is desirable.Experience in technical reporting, presentations, familiarity with environmental laws and regulations, and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification are advantageous.Willingness to travel and work in field conditions.Fluency in English.What We Offer You:Worley provides a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation packages, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
