Must have:

15 years of experience in data mart and data warehouse environments

ETL or ELT design and development

Development and project management experience implementing analytic applications including all phases of system development lifecycle (SDLC)

Job Description:

Is recognized as an external thought leader within strategic function or discipline. Has broad and comprehensive expertise in leadingedge theories techniques and/or technologies within own function or discipline.

Supports the standards and conventions set by Data Architecture and Data Governance teams in the BTS Enterprise Information Management team and design and implement architecturally compliant applications.

Participates in the development of the product or business strategy.

Design develop document test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or inhouse).

Serve as technical expert on development projects. Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.

Determine opportunities to redesign business processes to achieve better business results and automate business processes and functions.

Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

Support maintain and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.

Analyze code to find causes of errors revise programs as needed and coordinate issues resolution activities with varied stakeholders.

Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.

15 years of experience in data mart and data warehouse environments

Development and project management experience implementing analytic applications including all phases of system development lifecycle (SDLC)

Deep understanding of enterprise data and how it is being used by business for analytical and operational purposes.
