Sales Manager

Job Description - To be totally familiar with hotel products, rates, and promotions at all times. - Maintain up to date understanding of company products and rates and involvement in cross selling of these when required. - To participate in preparing the sales action plans, attend sales meetings; develop new ideas such as special packages, programs, promotional activities undertaken by sales department, F&B, spa and other hotel revenue centers. - Responsible for Room Sales of managed accounts in MICE segment including all group bookings in both rooms and banqueting. - To review Groups and Events F&B menus and pricing structure in coordination with the DOS-MICE, Events teams and Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef. - To identify need periods and maximize meeting space utilization in coordination with the DOS-MICE and the Sales Team. - Participate in hotel activities including promotions, sales blitzes, entertainment and other operational areas as directed. - Service needs of customers by attending to all requests promptly within 24 hours. - Assist the DOS-MICE in pursuing new market segments to secure sales and prepare proposals for consideration. - Preparation, communication and participation in FAM trip groups/events. - Develop strong, secure and productive business relations with all companies within portfolio under the geographic / market segment allocated.
