• Provide guidance and support to graduate students who are working on their dissertations
  
• Develop and implement strategies to help students manage their time and stay on track with their writing goals
  
• Provide feedback and guidance on writing and research skills
  
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs and services that support student success
  
• Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions on topics related to academic writing and research
  
• Stay current with trends and best practices in academic writing and research
  
• The Dissertation Writing Advisor and Coach is responsible for providing guidance and support to graduate students who are working on their dissertations. The Advisor will work closely with students to provide feedback, guidance, and coaching throughout the dissertation writing process. They will also be responsible for developing and delivering workshops and training sessions on topics related to academic writing and research.

Requirements

• Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic writing and research
  
• Strong writing and editing skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Experience providing coaching and support to students or other professionals
  
• Knowledge of academic writing styles and citation formats
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Experience developing and delivering workshops and training sessions
  
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
