You will be responsible for development, debugging, integration, calibration, test and validation of latest technologies (hardware and software) in automated driving demonstrators in Japan
Mission
- Development and maintenance of Hardware and Software architecture bricks
- Integration, calibration and validation of Sensors, high level perception software modules (Sensors fusion, planning and localization, driving policies and driver-machine interaction) in automated driving vehicle in Japan
- Support the validation of prototype system including evaluation of system performance
- Debugging, as much as possible bugs must be solved locally, if not possible write incident reports to exchange with Driving Assistance Research Worldwide
- Support development and calibration of other features from rest of the team
- Test and open road demonstrations
- Coordination with Driving Assistance Research Worldwide
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master degree in Engineering or PhD
- Driving license (minimum 3 years old) is a mandatory requirement for this position along with active driving experience.
- Engineer with previous experience or education in automotive or robotics (3 - 8 years) (We will consider higher experience candidates too (if they have experience of working with automotive customers) )
- C, C++ (Object Oriented Programming), Python skills
- Hands on experience with development of prototypes
- Knowledge and experience of embedded software development will be plus
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols CAN & Ethernet
- Japanese driving license.
