Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities • Perform repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance on customer facilities. • Remodel, retrofit, and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, light gauge metal, drywall, or plaster, and the associated plumbing systems. • Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work by contractors. • Plan, install, repair, alter, and/or replace furnishings, fixtures, equipment, appliances, and finishes to include doors, flooring, ceilings, and cabinets as necessary. Requirements • Active in Scope TS/SCI security clearance. • Five years of relevant facility maintenance experience. • Experience with maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems. • Knowledge of welding and sheet metal fabrication for minor maintenance and repair of flashing, ducting, fencing, turnstiles, signage, and other structural components. • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades. • Understanding of the Air Force or Army culture, language and expectations for mission success.
