Audit Manager

As an Audit Manager with our large accounting firm in the Chicago area you will play a vital role in overseeing engagements ensuring compliance with budgets and deadlines. Your responsibilities will include reviewing workpapers financial statements and tax returns before submission to managers/principals for further review. Additionally you will supervise and evaluate assigned staff cultivate client relationships and explore opportunities to provide additional services. Networking with professionals such as bankers investment brokers and lawyers will be part of your role along with contributing to staff management training and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting.
• CPA License required.
• 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting at a midmarket firm.
• Daily access to a vehicle for commuting to and from clients.
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution construction technology real estate or professional services industries.
