On behalf of one of its clients in the logistic industry the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Japanese speaking Business Development Manager/Director based in Singapore.

Our client is a total logistics solution company (3PL) seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Business Development Manager/Director to join their Singapore Regional Office. This role requires a proactive individual who can foster strong relationships with leading carriers and cargo customers in the region. As a key member of our team you will be responsible for developing compelling marketing materials presentations and strategies to enhance our companys visibility and brand positioning.
This position will report both to Singapore CEO and BD Director in Shanghai HQ.

Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with worldleading carriers and cargo customers in the AsiaPacific region.
Collaborate with key stakeholders/cargo owners to understand their business needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
2. Marketing and Brand Development:
Develop attractive PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials to enhance company awareness.
Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute effective campaigns that elevate our brand position.
3. Travel and Engagement:
Enjoy frequent travel across countries in the region to meet clients attend industry events and explore business opportunities.
Occasional travel to China or other countries to support annual meetings with key carriers.
4. Public Relations:
Actively engage in public events and activities to promote the companys image and business offerings.
Represent the company contributing to a positive and influential presence in the industry.
5. Creativity and Business Instinct:
Demonstrate a strong instinct for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
Develop creative service offerings based on the unique strengths and capabilities of the company.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 3rd Party Logistics.

Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Logistics or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development and relationship management within the logistics industry understand the endtoend logistic process and commercial terms.
Previous experience in a managerial or directorial role is highly desirable.
Fluent in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) to develop the customer relationships with Japan.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly PowerPoint.
Enthusiastic and selfmotivated individual.
Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
