About the Role:

SoftLabs is seeking Business Analyst for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in Canberra.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret the needs articulated by a diverse set of technical and nontechnical stakeholders while working with architects and developers to devise solutions that satisfy the stakeholder needs.
  
• Manage daytoday Agile activities using Defence desktop environment and associated applications.
  
• Lead the development of business process modelling for a diverse and complex set of business areas.
  
• Take responsibility for concisely and accurately documenting the requirements of business ensuring they are unambiguous and measurable/testable.
  
• Manage Stakeholder expectations influence conflict resolution and prepare periodic reports and presentations to inform the stakeholder and improve stakeholder relations. Provide input into data capture required to enhance business intelligence reporting.
  
• Capture requirements in the system of choice used by the delivery team and produce/update varying project artefacts relevant to the project.
  
  

Essential Criteria:

• End to end delivery of software solutions in COTS or BESPOKE projects.
  
• Eliciting business and technical requirements conducting impact analysis and prioritisation.
  
• Transforming user requirements into user stories with comprehensive user acceptance criteria to inform building testing and tracking of build items.
  
• Managing stakeholders facilitating presentation and product demonstrations for stakeholder feedback.
  
• Delivering in an Agile environment with examples of participation and facilitation of Agile events with experience utilising tools like Azure DevOps or its equivalent.
  
• Producing documents as a Business Analyst and its purpose during various project stages.
