Concept resources are working closely with a Manufacturing company in Buckingham who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

• Balance sheet reporting
  
• Quarterly VAT returns
  
• Currency Management
  
• Monthly payroll (outsourced)
  
• Daily cash management and maintenance of 13-week cash forecast
  
• Processing Credit Cards
  
• Credit Management and Payments
  
• Fixed asset register
  
• Providing cost analysis and influencing cost down projects
  
• Building budgets
  
• Month end reporting
  
• Assisting in the preparation of annual financial plans
  

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will play a senior management role in the company and will attend Board Meetings to present financial information to the directors, as well as contributing to strategic decision making.

The position also requires working with the Group Controller to help them better understand the financial performance of the business.

Necessary role related knowledge, skills and experience at selection A proven track record of delivering manufacturing kpi s in SQDCP (essential) NVQ level 5 or equivalent in Management (Essential) Experience of leading a team of people including development of Teams and individuals while creating accountability to deliver objectives. Able to take accountability for the shift performance and manpower requirements Fully able to develop team members, ensure excellent onboarding of all Production team members. Identify and address training and skills gaps to ensure fully effective team/shift. Ability to accurately understand and follow instructions Ability to accurately complete paperwork Ability to meet deadlines Numerate & ability to operate Lean Tools/ techniques i.e. Fishbone, 5 Whys, SPC, Kaizen, SMED, OEE etc Effective and timely investigations around Safety and Quality issues. Proficient in use Microsoft Office and company data collection systems Good knowledge of Company products and their related quality standards Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team
