| Dental clinic is extremely remote/rural. Provider MUST be comfortable working in this type of setting. Housing will be 3045 mins away from the clinic |
1. Degree in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from a school approved by the Council on Dental Education, American Dental Association, or another dental school, provided the education and knowledge acquired were substantially equivalent to that of graduates from an ADA-approved school. 2. Current license in good standing to practice dentistry in one of the 50 states, New Mexico licensure required within one year of employment. 3. Experience and/or training in at least one of the following types preferred but not required: a. Training in a dental internship or residency approved by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association. b. Experience working with Native American people. c. Post-licensure professional experience in the general practice of dentistry. d. Other advanced study or training (outside a dental school or hospital) creditable towards satisfaction of training program requirement for Board eligibility.
