Senior Accountant German speaking

As a hybrid between media and tech company we help creators and artists to monetize and distribute their content on UGC platforms such as YouTube and streaming services such as Spotify. With our proprietary and unique technology we administer 200000 copyrighted works and monetize over four billion YouTube views per year for thousands of artists and creators.

Tasks

In this role you will be an integral part of our finance team collaborating with the CEO the Finance Operations Manager and our external tax advisor. Your key responsibilities will include:

• General Accounting and Reporting: Managing and performing daytoday accounting tasks including the creation of royalty statements and financial reports that highlight the companys profits equity and cash flow.
• Client and Tax Advisor Liaison: Acting as a primary point of contact for clients and our tax advisor ensuring clear and efficient communication.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Account Reconciliation: Overseeing the reconciliation of supplier customer and general ledger accounts.
• Expense Management: Reviewing and processing employee expense submissions and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to evaluate the companys financial health and identify areas of revenue generation and loss.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our help center guidelines presentations and internal financial workflows.

Requirements

• Academic Credentials: A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (such as CPA CMA or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with a proven track record in handling complex financial tasks and demonstrating a high level of competency in financial management.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in German with a minimum B2 level proficiency. This is essential for effective communication with clients regulatory authorities and team members. Additionally full working proficiency in English.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
