Position Overview: As a Management Accountant you will be a key financial professional responsible for providing strategic financial insights and supporting decisionmaking within the organization. Working closely with management teams you will contribute to financial planning budgeting and forecasting activities. Your role involves analysing financial data preparing reports and offering recommendations to optimize the financial performance of the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets forecasts and financial plans.
  • Monitor and analyze costs identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements management reports and other relevant financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles standards and regulations.
  • Generate periodic reports for management highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts providing insights into financial trends.
  • Conduct indepth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives investment decisions and business development opportunities.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit findings.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CFA ACA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented organized and able to meet deadlines.
