JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Position Title : Manager/Sr.Manager Purchase

Grade : M2/M1

Location : Pelhar (Vasai)

I. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To Manage & Assist in Purchase activities follow up for material procurement and maintain purchase documents.
  
• As per the guideline and process initiate the purchasing process calling quotations.
  
• Follow up of vendors for material procurements.
  
• Maintaining the purchaserelated documents and filling.
  
• Preparing POs in SAP system.
  
• Collecting quotations from various vendors against purchase requisition.
  
• Making a comparison of received quotations for rate quality etc for analysis and finalization.
  
• To support and assist Management by providing necessary data as and when required.
  
• Maintaining and preparation of documents related to ISO/IATF/TS/Audits etc.
  
• Local / cash purchasing as per the requirement.
  
• Coordination with Stores department for inventory and stock controlling.
  
• Reconciliation of supplier payments with coordination with finance/accounts department.
  
• Experience of electric components like resistors capacitors microcontrollers transistors inductors diodes switches and this is mandatory as the candidates would have to deal with the vendors for the rate challenges etc.
  

II. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

A person who can find out new suppliers for our PE parts/Assy and do new vendor development Part costing negotiation and Finalization. Part ordering and moreover cost innovation.

Negotiation and Analytical skills

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

• BE Electronics & communication with 15 18years of relevant experience
  

Diploma/MBA degree in Supply chain management.

Experience related to Purchase of Electronics components (Must have good contacts with many electronic parts/Assy. suppliers)

Automotive/Printing domain experience is preferred.
