The host/ hostess will serve as an ambassador and must be a multifunctional individual with an attention to the finer details and a great personality to welcome our guests.
Duties:
- Welcome guests with a warm friendly attitude
- Provide sincere and caring interaction with guests
- Answer phones deal with guests face to face assist servers
- Control reservations
- Manage seating of walkin guests
- Communicate with the appropriate manager of each section and servers
- Assist servers in sections as/when required with focus staying on the hostess stand
- Ensure the restaurant portrays a wellrun establishment by being tidy and organized
- Previous hostess/host experience is an asset
- Experience in providing customer service over the phone i.e. making reservations answering questions provide information and take orders
- Must be able to work weekends and public holidays
- Must be wellorganized
