We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Active Directory Specialist to join our team in managing and optimizing our Active Directory environment. The role involves tailoring group policies scripting PowerShell commands for automation and ensuring a seamless and secure domain infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and optimize group policies to cater for evolving domain requirements regularly.
- Assess and refine replication configurations for consistency implementing new configurations during site development.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for automated deployment procedures.
- Configure and troubleshoot name resolution in an Active Directoryintegrated splitbrain DNS setup.
- Conduct routine health assessments of the enterprise proposing remedies for any identified issues.
- Oversee Active Directorybased activation of Windows platforms and enforce security enhancements directed by the CSO.
- Proactively evaluate and suggest improvements to current Active Directory technologies to align with organizational goals.
- Support the unit with additional duties within the scope of the role.
Requirements:
- Clearance: TS/SCI w CI Poly (or willingness to sit for CI Poly).
- Extensive enterpriselevel experience optimizing Directory Services infrastructure and hierarchy.
- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining Directory Services environments across diverse enclaves with varying mission requirements.
- Solid grasp of Group Policy application to fortify resources within the environment.
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs and their practical implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot Group Policy processing issues and maintain DNS functionality at the service level.
- Handson experience with splitbrain DNS for multihomed enterprise resources.
- Knowledgeable in designing and maintaining AD Federated Services and associated technologies.
- Competence in maintaining the health of existing AD Certificate Services technologies.
- Mastery of Active Directoryand the latest versions.
- Expertise in authoring PowerShell scripts for setting up and maintaining AD environments.
- Experience creating and managing custom schema objects within Active Directory.
- Skill in analyzing current Active Directory delegation and proposing steps for a zerotrustbased delegation model.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: A fouryear college degree in system administration information technology computer science computer engineering with at least five years of detailed experience in managing Active Directory components. Alternatively ten years of extensive handson experience within IT systems encompassing production and development environments may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in designing and developing Federated Services.
- Programming skills using C# and .NET for AD resource manipulation.
- Experience maintaining code repositories to ensure effective change management.
- Familiarity with engaging onpremises vendor support for proactive scans and remediation of Active Directory technology issues.
