HSE Instructor - Oilfield Services - KSA

We are working with an International Oilfield Serviceswho is looking for a HSE Instructor/HSE Trainer to be based in KSA.

Job Purpose:

Delivering HSE Training as per company and client standards and work instructions and process documentation and record keeping

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company quality health and environmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible to comply with the companys QHSE Management System.
• Responsible to control the documents.
• Keep updated documents of training safety and security passes.
• Transmit Quality documents and keep record of it.
• Responsible to inspect field employees training progress and safety passports.
• Log Training Performance Evaluation and forward to Training and Development Manager every month.
• Responsible to ensure all Employees are in compliance with the safety training requirements.
• Be able to deliver trainings on site.
• Log trainings conducted on site with attendance sheets and send it to the training administrator.
• Analyse training needs on field employees by using different methods.
• Responsible to follow up on the development of employees that are assigned with special training tasks.
• Responsible to keep a record of attendance and sign safety passports upon completion.
• Random checkups with field employees to assure training compliance.
• Arrange Weekly plan to go around the sites where employees are present.
• Arrange weekly Topics to discuss with coordination with the HSE Department.
• Arrange weekly/Monthly QHSE Site supervisors to assure training delivery quality is being met.
• Organize special meetings if any.
• Collect and keep record of Training evaluation and feedback.
• Representing the Training and development dept. in the field.
• Actively promote a health and safety culture through use of appropriate systems and work practices.
• Ensure all departments implements effective QHSE management systems.
• Rigorously identify training needs.
• Responsible to keep all employees actively engaged with their training and development plans.
• Implements appropriate corrective actions with personnel who havent completed the required Minimum trainings.
• Ensure that QHSE communication and consultation systems are implemented and actively promote engagement with the consultative framework.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company and according to the organisations instructions for proper use.
• Authorized to stop any activities that do not follow safe work practices.
• Supervise all personnel working with him work safely and environmentally aware.
• Supervise in developing and designing QHSE Training scheme & material documentation in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
• Supervise and ensure that all the activities are carried out with due regard for QHSE policies.
• Maintain all safety records including induction training QHSE training inspections audits and accident investigation/ reports.
• Liaison with client safety representatives when necessary
• Conduct regular QHSE audits.

Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in a technical stream with relevant Safety and Quality Training.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant HSE experience preferably 1 year in Oil and Gas Sector.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Computer Proficiency in MS operating system
