Environmental Specialist - KSA

We are looking for Environmental Specialist for our prestigious energy client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Duration: Minimum 6 months (Call out basis)

Job Summary: The role of the Environmental Specialist encompasses the responsibility of ensuring environmental compliance on offshore/onshore platforms through thorough audits and inspections. This position includes the reporting of environmental findings working in collaboration with the rig team to resolve identified issues and delivering training to elevate environmental awareness among rig personnel. The individual will diligently maintain precise records of these activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform audits and inspections of rig facilities with an environmental focus using the companys checklist.
• Record findings in the checklist approved by the company.
• Scrutinize and confirm company compliance with pertinent environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the rig team to address and resolve identified environmental issues.
• Deliver training and coaching to rig personnel during environmental audits.
• Maintain precise and uptodate records in adherence to established guidelines.
• Possess certification for the services offered.

Key Duties:

• Perform environmental audits and inspections on offshore/onshore platforms.
• Record and convey environmental audit discoveries using authorized checklists.
• Collaborate with the rig team to address and resolve environmental issues.
• Deliver effective training and coaching to enhance environmental awareness.
• Maintain comprehensive and uptodate records of environmental audit activities.

Qualifications:

• Verified experience as an Environmental Specialist in the offshore/onshore sector emphasizing drilling operations for a company operating in Saudi Arabia or a comparable environment.
• Certification as an Environmental Specialist.
• Indepth knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
