As a Platform Engineer you ll play a critical role in architecting deploying and managing our customer s core platform ensuring its availability performance and security with the goal of making an impact across the federal government.

Must Have s:

• 8 years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
  
• Active TS/SCI clearance
  
• Extensive expertise in designing and implementing highly available scalable and secure platform architectures.
  
• Proficiency in AWS (Azure a plus) with a deep understanding of cloud services and networking.
  
• Strong handson experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker Kubernetes; specifically experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  
• Experience building and/or deploying a data protectionasaservice (DPAAS) solution.
  
• Indepth knowledge of infrastructureascode (IaC) tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
  
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Artifactory GitHub Jenkins SonarQube.
  
• Solid scripting and programming skills in languages like Python Go Ruby or similar.
  
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK stack etc.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
  
• Experience working on an Agile development team and relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent are a plus.
  
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  
• Ability to obtain privileged user access
  

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement a resilient and scalable platform architecture.
  
• Lead the planning development and deployment of platform components services and applications.
  
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies tools and frameworks to optimize platform performance security and costeffectiveness.
  
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.
  
• Monitor platform performance identify bottlenecks and proactively optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
  
• Manage cloudbased infrastructure and orchestration tools to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
  
• Drive security best practices throughout the platform implementing measures to safeguard data applications and services.
  
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the platform stack and provide effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
