Tasks
- Develop and optimize quantitative models and trading strategies.
- Code complex financial systems using Python and Java.
- Manage largescale codebases for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with researchers to enhance strategies.
- Maintain seamless data pipelines for trading systems.
- Analyze equities and futures markets for insights.
- Oversee daytoday operations of trading processes.
- Enhance objectoriented code for better performance.
- Support traders and ensure system functionality.
- Use Git for version control and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Background in a scientific field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution particularly in a quant/researcher role.
- Proficient in Python with a strong working knowledge of Java.
- Experience handling extensive codebases exceeding 500k lines and adeptness in objectoriented programming.
- Demonstrated expertise in version control using Git and developing data pipelines.
- Prior experience in systematic trading or supporting systematic traders with equities and futures markets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to optimize quantitative models and strategies for trading.
