Were working with a reputable law firm based in Bournemouth whore looking for a legal secretary to join the wills & tax team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and draft legal documents such as correspondence pleadings and motions
Organize and maintain legal files and documents
Schedule and coordinate meetings hearings and appointments for attorneys
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Assist with trial preparation including organizing exhibits and witness lists
Communicate with clients opposing counsel and court personnel
Manage attorney calendars and deadlines
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a legal secretary or similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Familiarity with court rules and filing requirements
