• Job Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining an extensive wine list offering a diverse selection of highquality wines to our guests.
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations on wine pairings to enhance guests' dining experience.
  • Ensuring proper storage handling and serving of wines.
  • Conducting wine tastings and educational sessions for guests.
  • Developing strong relationships with wine suppliers and conducting regular wine tastings to stay updated on new offerings.
  • Assisting in the development of the hotel's wine program including wine events and promotions.

• Essential Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of different wines regions and varietals.
  • Experience in creating and managing wine lists in a highend restaurant or luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to make confident wine recommendations to guests based on their preferences and food choices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Desired Experience

  The ideal candidate for the position of Sommelier would have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a sommelier in a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel.
  • An accredited sommelier certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in curating and managing a premium wine cellar.
  • A deep passion for wines and a desire to continuously expand knowledge and expertise in the field.
  • Experience in conducting wine tastings and educational sessions.
