Job Overview As a temporary Cashier you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for our customers The ideal candidate should have excellent numerical skills attention to detail and a friendly demeanor This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking shortterm employment in a fastpaced and customeroriented environment

Responsibilities

1. Cash Handling
   

   • Process customer transactions accurately using the pointofsale (POS) system
     
   • Handle cash credit and electronic payments with precision
     
   • Provide correct change to customers and ensure the security of cash transactions
     

2. Customer Service
   

   • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
     
   • Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
     
   • Resolve customer issues or escalate them to the appropriate supervisor
     

3. Record Keeping
   

   • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
     
   • Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies
     

4. Sales Support
   

   • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
     
   • Collaborate with the sales team to promote current promotions or discounts
     

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
   
2. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
   
3. Strong communication and customer service skills
   
4. Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy
   
5. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
