RN Observational Unit

Department: Observational Unit

Shift Timings: 19:00-07:30 Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

5 Months Contract

Per Week: 36 Hours - EOW and EOH - May need to float to sites within 40 miles

Role & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• The National Institutes of Health (NIH)

• Telemetry required

• 2 years of MedSurg

• 2 Professional References
