Family Nurse Practitioner

1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health history, physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests

2. Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, infections, and chronic diseases

3. Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient needs

4. Provide counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

7. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

8. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in healthcare

1. Valid nursing license as a Family Nurse Practitioner in New York.

2. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program

3. Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC)

4. Prior experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates

5. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines for primary care

6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting

8. Excellent organizational and time management skills
