Position: Support Technician
Locations: Honolulu HI

Knowledge and experience: Knowledge and experience of IT standards, principles, concepts, methods, policies, and approaches for IT, and a working knowledge of the following applications; all Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, Access, Forms, Visio, Visual Studio, and Teams, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Professional and Adobe Reader, Adobe Photoshop, IBM Lotus Forms Viewer, Camtasia Studio, Snag-It, Snap Survey, Symantec EndPoint, Smart Draw, Smart Board, SolarWinds, Turning Point, Roxio, Quicktime, Flash Player, Java, Pinnacle, Photo Story, and Dreamweaver, Windows 10, and components, protocols and the IT equipment and software to study user problems and identify/develop and implement the best methods, procedures and processes to resolve such problems
Knowledge of Customer support concepts, methods and provisions; state-of-the-art IT equipment and software; approaches to networking; application and communications interfaces; and Microsoft Domain Controllers, File Servers, Exchange Servers, SolarWinds SolarWinds Servers, Web Servers, Sharepoint Servers, Database Servers, Print Servers, Domain Name Services Servers, Symantec Information Protection Servers and Virtual Management Servers to determine their applicability and susceptibility for use in the center to resolve recurring user problems.

Education: BA in Information Technology-required
Certifications : Security + CE -required

Clearance: Active Secret or Higher
Skills:
Customizing Excel models
Building sophisticated and user-friendly Excel templates for modeling and data entry.
Writing professional VBA code to automate tasks within our projects.
Salvaging problematic workbooks
Enabling Spreadsheet models to communicate with database applications
Developing Excel add-ins
Developing and/or refining Database systems, customizing Access applications.
Upsizing Access databases to SQL Server.
Programming MS Office applications for better interface with possible connections into MS Office SharePoint Server 2010/2013.
Develop fill-able forms
Develop paperless workflow efforts
