Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer

Our client is looking for a Mid-level ServiceNow Developer for a year long contract.

The ServiceNow Technical expert / Developer. The contractor shall provide ongoing assistance to the IT Service Management team with configuration and development needs with ServiceNow ITSM tool set.

Responsibilities:

Randstad's Contractors will perform the following tasks in support of the services:

• Extensive experience in ServiceNow configuration, including creating custom modules, fields, forms, and UI policies to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly, allowing for the development of advanced functionalities and complex integrations.
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) utilizing ServiceNow to optimize incident, problem, change, and request catalog management.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and notifications to automate tasks and enforce business processes.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration techniques, enabling seamless connections with third-party applications, APIs, and data sources.

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering productive relationships with stakeholders, end-users, and development teams

• Install, configure, and support a wide variety of hardware such as servers, switches, and disk storage devices. Involves racking, running cable, configuring server BIOS, etc. in the data center.

Install, configure and support Omni-Path and Infiniband high speed networks (switches, cabling, Fabric Manager).

Perform BIOS and firmware upgrades.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with bare metal provisioning via PXE and disk imaging.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with KVM VMs, disk imaging, networking, etc.

Develop and test Ansible code to install, configure and upgrade applications and services.

Write bash and python scripts for ad-hoc automation and monitoring.

Work closely with the CI team to quickly troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.

Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, how-to articles.
