Duties and Responsibilities
- Aligns with and promotes the vision mission and values of the organization
- Leads the facility to achieve efficiency develop personnel and deliver exceptional customer service
- Utilizes stakeholder input for informed business decisions
- Identifies and hires topquality candidates for department needs
- Supervises both fulltime and parttime operations personnel leading team meetings
- Utilizes effective oral and written communication to monitor the store s direction
- Leads and coaches the team using the performance management system
- Adheres to safety policies procedures and standards
- Collaborates on safety and compliance issues with the Managing Director and other locations
- Reinforces company branding and ensures compliance with location standards
- Develops and executes profit plans in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Seeks team input for annual budget development
- Develops yearly business plans and budgets with input from managers
- Utilizes sales department input and past performance for annual unit forecasting
- Achieves targeted market penetration and volume sales goals
- Creates and implements scheduling for sales parts and service
- Generates growth through parts and service sales
- Manages inventory and facilitates product distribution
- Collaborates to achieve inventory turnover targets
- Travels with salesmen to meet customers and promote the brand
- Participates in local service clubs and chambers of commerce to raise brand awareness
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Domicile must be located within the store(s) area of responsibility
- Limited overnight and some international travel may be required
Supervisory Responsibilities
Demonstrates strong leadership responsible for overall direction coordination and evaluation of units Conducts supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) and four to six years of related experience or equivalent combination Demonstrated leadership and management experience Valid drivers license and US Passport
Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic business principles inventory and overhead contribution
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Paychex DIS/SAP SalesForce and EDA systems
- Certified forklift operator with strong mechanical aptitude
