- Preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Conducting tax research to stay updated on tax regulations and changes.
- Advising clients on tax planning, strategies, and compliance issues.
- Identifying potential tax savings and recommending proactive solutions.
- Assisting with IRS and state tax authority audits and inquiries.
- Supervising and mentoring junior tax staff, providing guidance and training.
- Collaborating with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
- Preparing tax projections and estimates for clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of tax accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
