Summary:



The Project Coordinator Intervention Solutions shall be primarily responsible for assisting in the management of Projects within the Intervention Solutions Department. This includes executing financial related tasks including evaluating budgets, reporting progress on jobs, and assisting in final invoicing.


The Project Coordinator Intervention Solutions may be called upon to provide both strategic and tactical support as required. This support includes, but is not limited to, engineering, operational, technical and sales support related to Trendsetter.


This position will be based from the Trendsetter office located in Houston, TX.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of the projects and equipment assigned including documentation, personnel and 3rd party support
  • Interface with Project Manager and/or Clients as required for technical and equipment support matters
  • Interface with Operations staff as required ensuring technical work is completed efficiently, accurately and consistently on schedule
  • Perform the following project controls duties:
    • Develop baseline budget and schedule upon contract award
    • Work with project manager to determine key risk factors affecting schedule and budget.
    • Track cost vs. budget from start to end of project. Make cost forecast adjustments as necessary.
    • Work with planner to develop and maintain project schedule with full resource loading
      • Track labor hours vs. budget from start and make forecast adjustments as necessary
      • Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing report status and schedule changes
      • Track resource reallocation throughout project. Call out potential resource shortages to key managers
    • Measure and report progress in terms of actual vs. planned progress throughout the project
    • Maintain project cash flow forecast
    • Provide updated risk assessment reports to management, including likelihood of budget/schedule impact, mitigation steps, and contingencies identified if problems should occur
    • Deliver periodic reports to management and clients (when obligated)
    • Work with Proposals Manager to track and manage change orders
    • Coordinate project closeout
    • Deliver final project reports to management
  • Comply with Company HSE policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Preferred two (2) years of practical experience in similar role preferably in subsea oilfield operations and equipment provider
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Proficiency with MS Project preferred
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment is required


Qualifications: Education: Engineering Degree from an EAC/ABET accredited program. E.I.T. Certification or passed FE exam preferred Experience and Skills: o Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and approval processes o Minimum of 2 years experience in subsea equipment design o Proficient in SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling software o Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project) Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D and Mathcad software Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and organizational skills Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to change, when required due to the rapid response nature of business Work autonomously as well as under direction Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
