I am recruiting for a fantastic Head of People role for a leading leisure brand based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive organisation with exciting plans over the next 12-18 months. This is a leisure job not to be missed.

My client is a leisure operator with diverse sites across the Birmingham and West Midlands region. With over 500 staff (full time, part-time and casuals) this is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team to help improve business performance and efficiency. My client is passionate about being an employer of choice and views this role as a pivotal position to help achieve this.

As a head of people, you will be reporting directly to the CEO. You will have a team of 3-4 and will have overall responsibility of the entire HR and people function. You will also be responsible for implementation of new systems and procedures. You will also be expected to business partner with the CEO and other key members of the Senior Leadership team on key people issues, business re-structuring and overall people strategy.

What are we looking for?

1. An experienced HR Manager, Senior HR Manager or Head of People with at least 5 year s experience in an HR managerial role.
2. CIPD Level 5 or above
3. Experience of implementing new systems and procedures to improve business efficiency and performance.
4. Experience of working in the following sectors: Public sector, councils, leisure management, Universities and education. Or similar sectors where you are managing multiple stakeholders and following detailed processes.
