Transportation EngineerProject Manage

Leading U.S. engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager for their Chicago office!

Responsibilities:

• Lead project team (set priorities, develop objectives, team financial management and project staffing)
  
• Take responsibility for projects and pursuits
  
• Provide technical leadership to team
  
• Assist with business development by developing strategic plans, marketing activities, client development and presentation/proposal development
  
• Must be involved in a professional society
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in engineering
  
• 7+ years of design experience in transportation engineering, highway design and local street design
  
• PE License for Illinois
  
• Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, and/or IL Tollway design and standards
  
• Experience using MicroStation
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
