Why Recruiting:

The appointment of a suitable candidate into this role will form part of exciting plans for ITAB and the continued growth plans for our direct and distributor sales working as part of the wider UK Sales Team.

About the position

The Account Manager must be a committed and goal orientated individual, be customer focused, have a positive can-do attitude, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a calm and patient outlook whilst being able to demonstrate composure during challenging scenarios.

Must be self-motivated and resilient and have the energy and drive to work as part of a team and have the determination to exceed personal, team and company targets.

Job Description this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the team sales plan to generate sales through, relationships, subscriptions, in and out bound new business calls and industry research.
  • Handle transactional sales enquiries (inbound) and ask questions to fully explore the opportunity
  • Develop and present quotes & proposals with a sound commercial understanding
  • Have a Customer first approach
  • Able to develop and maintain a wide range of customer relationships
  • Desire and drive to sell and close opportunities.
  • Ensure good awareness of current products, services, and market trends.
  • Project tracking with existing customers and projects
  • Advising customers of new product lines
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and develop brand loyalty.
  • Promote the ITAB brand by building trust and rapport with customers.
  • Always thinking ahead and being prepared for the next opportunity.
  • Hold regular reviews of targets and performance.
  • Deliver 100% customer satisfaction with every order.
  • Develop a clear plan and pipeline for future growth.

We Ask:

  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and via all styles are a major requirement of this position. The AM must be confident in building relationships and communicating effectively from the most Junior to the most Senior level stakeholders with confidence, both internally and externally. Commercially aware, including cost, sell and margin calculations.
  • Experience of working and nurturing productive relationships with different levels of management, colleagues, customers, suppliers
  • Methodical, highly organised, and accurate approach to work and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, ability to show initiative and develop creative solutions.
  • Commitment to the positive promotion of the company
  • Committed to high professional standards.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the business.

Education, Experience, Language, IT system:

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the business.
  • Professional image with a Full, clean driving license
