InventoryMaterial Control Specialist

Southeast Texas HR is seeking an Inventory/Material Control Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As our Inventory/Material Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring inventory levels, identifying and distributing raw materials, and reviewing incoming and outgoing materials. This will be a temp-to-perm position for the ideal candidate. This job will include weekends and pay will be $22.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing incoming and outgoing inventory levels
  
• Work with vendors for pricing and delivery times
  
• Create and provide POs
  
• Inspect all incoming materials for accuracy
  
• Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• 3 or more years of manufacturing/industrial materials management experience
  
• 3 or more years of ERP usage experience
  
• AS9001 and/or ISO 9001 knowledge is preferred
  
• Good communication and time management skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical
