Job Title : Senior Business Intelligence Engineer -Data Analyst

Location : Austin, TX

Duration : 12months

Job Description;

Overall 15+ years of IT Experience

1. Daily communication with USA-based business analysts in chat and email for clarity on complex business requirements.

2. Write and refer SQL for new and existing projects.

3. Create/refactor dashboards & data visualizations, including html, css and Vega visualization grammar.

4. Check in and review code in the version control system.

5. Data validation and data audits.

6. Stay current with google technology.

7. Query and manage data catalog entries. Help maintain ACLs and audit data access.

8. Help manage development datasets.

1. Ability to both interpret and construct business requirements documents.

2. Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing stakeholder needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions.

4.Ability to both construct and analyze models and diagrams in LucidChart and Google Drawings.

Technical Skills

1.OLAP data management with columnar databases and sophisticated data catalogs. Similar products: Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and

Databricks.

2. Google SQL - GoogleSQL is an advanced sql dialect including embedded javascript and Lua functions. All transformations are handled

with GoogleSQL and our DAG orchestration tool exclusively manages GoogleSQL pipelines.

3. Data visualization is handled with a google internal tool similar to Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau. Additionally, this tools supports html, css

and the Vega visualization grammar for custom and advanced visualizations. Candidates must be ready to learn and work these tools.

4.Version Control is critical to our team. We use a google internal tool similar to Git. Pulls, pushes, code reviews and managing CI/CD

workflows are part of the daily activities.

5. Linux CLI. Candidates must be comfortable on the command line in order to handle routine parts of the development process.
