Sales Representative - Commercial, Building Services & Construction

Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling temporary solutions and services within the Richmond market, primarily targeting General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Mechanical professionals, Facility Management teams, Restoration contractors, and other sectors. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients across various commercial sectors, including Construction, Contracting, Events, Facility Management, and more.

What You Will Do:
- Develop a commercial customer base by actively promoting and soliciting new business within your assigned territory.
- Create and achieve an Annual Territory Sales Plan, setting revenue, profitability, and market growth targets.
- Provide quotes to customers, including pricing, contract terms, estimated delivery dates, and credit terms.
- Showcase and demonstrate product features to potential clients.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
- Coordinate with Rental Center operations to prepare sales contracts, documentation, and order/project collections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project objectives align with customer needs.
- Offer technical sales assistance for power and temperature applications using relevant manuals.
- Drive 'step changes' in business results by expanding your knowledge of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
What You Will Have:
- 3-5 years of direct business-to-business full cycle sales experience
- Knowledge of the industrial and construction industry
- Advanced knowledge of the targeted territory
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in Power Generation or Rental Services, preferred
