Quality Supervisor

Location: Leicester, LE3

Salary: 34,000 - 36,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: 40 hours per week - Permanent

We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to be involved with the planning, coordination and control of all business accreditation, quality and training activities.

You will need to show evidence of the following:

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills;

• Communication skills to work with managers to implement and maintain quality standards;

• An investigative mind;

• IT skills;

• Attention to detail;

• A flexible approach to work;

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience of working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.

• A good working knowledge of MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Update, compile and review Quality procedures.

• Checking compliance with UKAS procedures in Laboratory.

• To ensure and maintain company quality standards.

• Ensuring laboratory records are in order.

• To carry out laboratory and site test/system audits.

• Check and update all technical documents used by the laboratory.

• To ensure labelling of equipment and samples is correctly maintained and relevant equipment is taken out of service where necessary.

Reports to:

Quality Manager / General Manager

Key Working Relationships:

Quality Manager, General Manager and any other members of the CTS Structures management team, All Technical and Administrative Staff.
