Lead AWS Full Stack Developer

Job Title: Lead AWS Full Stack Developer.

Location: Remote.

Duration: Full-Time.

The Position:

Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team working on the federal public facing portal project. The citizen facing portal is a high-visibility program aimed at enhancing users experience using government services for small businesses. As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in leading the development of the initial MVP, followed by, full scale implementation of the SSO Portal by integrating various external systems and data sources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver industry best solutions using an Agile DevSecOps environment and Customer Experience methodologies. You will get rare opportunities to design and implement the solution from scratch with enterprise level strategy for CRM, SSO, Portal, Unified Data Layer and Reporting. You will work with other Architects and SMEs to ensure the portal solution meets the government objectives.

Role Specific Duties:

Hands on expertise with designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable, highly available, modular, flexible, and secure serverless solutions hosted on AWS cloud.

AWS certification (Solutions Architect and/or Developer) is preferred.

Lead the development team by collaborating with product managers, Architects, SMEs, and UI/UX designers to design, develop, and implement end-to-end Portal platform with SSO on AWS platform.

Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications with a strong focus on user experience and performance.

Establish industry best practice for DevSecOps process to fit client environment.

Build and integrate APIs to connect front-end applications with back-end services, systems, and databases.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Establish a test-driven development model with the QA/Test team to ensure software quality through continuous testing and debugging.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

12+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality end-to-end web applications.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microservices, various AWS Services (e.g., IAM, Cognito, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.), SSO, React, Python, Django and other MVC frameworks.

Experience with containerization (EKS, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, etc.), PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, IaaC, etc. serverless cloud technologies.

Solid experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, S3, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, etc.)

Proven leadership skills to manage a team of developers with day-to-day activities.

Prior experience with setting up complete DevSecOps process for multiple Agile teams.

Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and test automation using Github and similar tools.

Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, etc.).

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Commitment to delivering high-quality, well-tested code.

Prior experience in projects related to government services, customer experience, or financial services is a plus.
