About the Nursing Home:
This comfortable Nursing Home provides care to adults with Dementia, Mental Health Conditions, Old Age, and Physical Disabilities, across specialized units. Residents receive round-the-clock care in a secure and hygienic facility, while enjoying the freedom to pursue their own lifestyles and hobbies, both within the home and in the surrounding community.
The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home includes:
- Ensuring the care, welfare, and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
- Conducting physical/psychological assessments of new residents upon admission.
- Creating individualized care plans for residents.
- Updating care plans daily.
- Safely administering and recording medication.
- Effective communication with external suppliers and healthcare providers.
- Monitoring and enhancing the performance of care staff.
- Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
- Using a person-centered approach to understand and meet each individuals needs with the utmost privacy, dignity, and respect.
Requirements
Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
- Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
- Active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
- Clear DBS
