Senior Net Developer

Location

This role will require someone who is based in Manchester or able to commute easily to our Manchester office.

Salary and Benefits

60k 75k and an annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary. We also offer various other supportive benefits, including a Share Option Scheme package, private healthcare, and 34 days holiday allowance.

We have a small team of developers that we are looking to expand.

We are currently seeking a proactive Lead Developerwith specialisation in back-end who is also able to bring leadership and agile process management to the role in our dynamic and fast paced team. The role will report to the Product Manager but will also have support from the Director of Development.

We are committed to training and development as an integral part of working with us. You will also have an opportunity to be involved in wider business activities.

In addition to the key responsibilities of the role, there may opportunities to get involved in other internal developments and potentially to support client projects.

Key Responsibilities

The day-to-day activities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Leading a small, high-performing team of developers.
• Discussing, understanding, and interpreting the business requirements for the system.
• Creating, alongside the Product Manager, delivery plan with milestones.
• Technical design of system features.
• Coding / developing the software to analyse customer asset data.
• Being accountable for the delivery of the product.
• Providing technical leadership to development team
• Project and sprint planning.
• Leading stand-ups and refinement sessions.
• Engage flexibly with the software testing process.
• Contributing to the product direction.
• Providing regular updates on progress against plan.
• Raise issues or queries quickly and openly.
• Communication with the project team and the wider business.
• Contribute to periodic team events.

Individual Requirements

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge experience, knowledge, and skills in the following areas:

Experience

• 3+ years experience with designing solution architecture.
• Extensive experience in .NET Core technology stack.
• Confident in leading a team of developers.
• Experience in agile development environment.
• Experience in ASP.Net Blazor.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Experience working with Cosmos DB.

Skills

• Able to work with the business to understand requirements.
• Experience working in a commercial environment.
• Demonstrable strong coding skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership skills.
