About the Role

Barn Owl is looking for a highly motivated Customer Support Specialist to support our internal Support, Success, and Sales teams. Barn Owl s commitment to exceptional customer support and service sets us apart from our competitors. This role is key in ensuring we maintain the highest level of customer support as we scale.


You will be the inside eyes and ears for our growing customer base. You will work to understand and maintain customer-facing content for current and prospective customers. The right candidate will be driven, eager to listen and learn, and a natural problem solver. Technical interest and aptitude will be essential in becoming a product expert in Barn Owl hardware and software products.


Responsibilities

  • Answer Tier One customer support calls, emails, and chat questions

  • Document all communications in Gorgias Support Suite

  • Escalate support and sales opportunities when appropriate

  • Implement Customer Support strategies in cooperation with Director of Customer Support & Success

  • Capture key content ideas for distribution via email, website, or social media

  • Exercise composure, resilience, and flexibility as our business grows and support volume changes

Requirements

  • Commitment to follow-through on tasks and customer responses

  • Barn Owl prioritizes states with existing operations including : CO, GA, UT, MA, NJ, PA

  • Excellent communication, phone skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to become a product expert (hardware and software)

  • Bachelor s Degree (Preferred), High school or equivalent (Required)

  • Customer Service Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with Ranching or Farming (Not required, but a big plus!)

  • Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST

  • Salary & Compensation: $40,000-50,000
